More wonderful things are happening
this spring is the release of Åsa Gustafssons debute
album "Orsak och verkan". Music by Lotta Wenglén
and lyrics by Åsa. The songs on the album have been
a big part of Åsas show "Bättre än
så här blir det inte" that sold full houses
at Folkteatern in Gothenburg in the winter of 2012 and 2014
when it went up the second time. The first single from the
album was released before Christmas and you can listen to

2010 was a busy year for us with the album releases of Twin
Piloda and Erika Rosén. Two videos with Erika was made,
one by Cecilia Nordlund and Thomas Romlöv and one by
Erika herself. Carl Nordström did a remix of "Time
to fly" and Erika went on a Germany tour with Christine
Owman and recieved wondeful album reviews in both Sweden and
Germany.
Twin Piloda has been recording new songs in his basement that
is absolutely fantastic and we will try to release as many
of the songs this year.
A big thanks to Border, Broken Silence and Me&myfriends
for proffesional distribution and promotion!
What´s up:
Lotta Wenglén is mixing her new album right now and
the plans are to release it before the summer. She had a visit
from Katharina Nuttall a couple of days ago and she helped
her mixing two of the songs. Thanks Katharina!
On the 1-2 of April Margit Music will have two evenings
at Victoriateatern in Malmoe. The bands at the label will
perform and it will be two evenings with exciting and some
what weird fusions. The tickets will soon be released by Kulturcentralen
so keep an eye out for this!!!
Small Flowers Crack Concrete is writing new song
material together. They are also booking a Germany tour in
April.
Sunshine Rabbits had they´re first rehearsal after a
long time. They made a new song right away!
The band has been recording in Margit Music Studio and this
year you will get to hear them!
Phsycadelic band DunDun has now joined us. Welcome! The band
is recording madly and the songs are already sounding great!
We are planning on having an album out this year so it´s

Erika and Christine Owman has been on a one week Germany
tour playing at venues in Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg and Kiel.
The tour has been a total succéss and Erika sold
out her demos after three nights. Skånska Dagbladet

Erika has during this winter been recording her debute album

The studio has been very busy during the month of March
and April!
Our studio guests so far has been: Apa State Mental
who has recorded their forthcoming album. Then we´ve
worked with the six song demo for the band We love
you baby and also recorded four new songs with
Lena Måndotter. Two weeks ago Cecilia
Nordlund and Lotta recorded and produced three cd:s with
tibetan Lama Lobsang. One meditation cd,
one lecture cd and a manthra cd to which they also wrote
new music.
Henrik at First Take Recordnings (and bass player in SFCC)
has, along with bandmembers Erika and Fredrik, recorded
Small Flowers Crack Concrete´s new
album. The band is now mixing the songs. Interesting guests
will appear on the album and the band has really found a
sound of their own. Lotta will mix three of the songs on
the album.
Cecilia Nordlund on tour with Fever Ray 18-20 March 2009!!!
Check out the show in Sthlm, Gothenburg and Malmoe. Cecilia
is singing on a couple of songs wearing a beaver head.
Also in Malmoe on the 20th of March, after the Fever Ray
show at Babel, you can go directly to Bodoni and dance to
one of our other great bands- Sunshine Rabbits!!!
This will be the last show in Malmoe for a while since Lost,
alias Path Of Life, is pregnant and will be occupied with
the newborn during the summer.
This might also effect the studio and this website that
won´t be as updated as you may hope for.

Nu bygger Margit Music inspelningsstudio tillsammans med
skivbolaget First Take Recordings i Malmö. Vi lämnar
alltså lokalerna på Monbijougatan 17 och tar
oss till Annelundsgatan. Studion väntas vara i bruk
i slutet på januari 2009.
