Margit Music

This is Lotta Wengléns own recordcompany under which she releases all her recordings as well as other great artists music. She started the company in the year 2001. Her grandmother was namned Margit and she taught Lotta how to play the harmonica and got her interested in playing music. Therefor it was easy to pick the name for the label.

The purpose of the company is to release good music, made with heart. Record it as simple as possible to prevent the risk of adding things not needed.

What´s up right now?
We´ve just released Lotta Wengléns fifth album "Thanks for your generous donations!" will be out this spring.

Margit Music is still recieving good response from Germany concerning Erika Rosén debute double album "Reload all emotions and let them collide" that hit the market in October 2010 in both Sweden and Germany.

Margit Music has signed psycadelica band DunDun and experimental artist Sofia Härdig. New music from them can be heard in the autumn 2011!

In Sweden we have Border Music to distribute our complete catalogue.
Margit Music is also in cooperation with Rootsy in Malmö. Rootsy provides distribution contacts in europe such as Norge/Musikkoperatörene, Finland/Supersounds, Danmark/Kick Music, Benelux/Sonic Rendezvous and in UK/Proper.

Margit Music works with german record company Waggle Daggle and promotion company Me And My Friends.
In Germany we have Broken Silence to sell parts of our catalogue.
